We are looking to progress to an online team submission & check-in process for the Victorian Track Relays Championships.
We ask schools to complete the following excel spreadsheet with ANY student that may compete on the day and email to sportdelivery@athsvic.org.au by Monday 2nd September at the latest.
Schools that submit by Friday 12pm will have team submissions open on the weekend to assist schools in preparing for the event.
Once check-in has closed (90 minutes prior to start time), substitutions must be done via the Substitution form at Administration (located in the Competition Directors room, at the rear of the main grandstand towards the finish line).
If a student is not on the list please email sportdelivery@athsvic.org.au with the athletes details included in the below spreadsheet. We will then import the athlete and include them into your check-in profile, then email you back once this has been completed.
School Helpers
School’s will be assigned various duties to enable the event to run successfully, and will be based off the number of teams that you submit to participate.
Helpers will be requested to report to the Cathy Freeman Room 15 minutes prior to their rostered shift. To access the Cathy Freeman Room, please do so via the Players Race along the main straight, there will be signage provided to direct School Helpers to the Cathy Freeman Room.
Warm Up Area – Long Jump Area (Warm Up Track Closed Due to Works)
Due to works within the Warm Up area at Lakeside Stadium there will be access to the long jump area for warm up. Please note there will be limited space in this area so we ask all schools and athletes to be considerate while using this space.
Substitutions
Substitutions will also be allowed throughout the day but must be submitted 45 minutes before the event.
Once check-in has closed (90 minutes prior to start time), substitutions must be done via the Substitution form at Administration (located in the Competition Directors room, at the rear of the main grandstand towards the finish line).
Venue Access & Kiosk
The Kiosk will be open throughout the day.
Call Room
Teams will need to be at Call Room (located on the Decking of the main grandstand, no later than 25 minutes prior to the event start time).
Athletes cannot wear spikes on the decking, but will be provided time on the track to change shoes prior to the event if they wish to do so. Teams that are not at call room on time may be disqualified.
Presentations
Teams that finish 1st, 2nd or 3rd will be required to marshal at the Players Race at the conclusion of finals. We as schools to be across timed final results which will be available via ResultsHub live, and assist in those teams that finish in a medal position to make their way to the Players Race as soon as possible for presentations to take place.
Teams not in attendance will be announced once, if they do not present themselves to the the presentation staff member, or have a team manager present to the presentation staff member, the Presentation may take place without the team to ensure prompt presentations for all teams.
Only those four athletes that participated in the final team will be awarded a medal.
