Guidelines
The AV Support Package is designed to give new or renewing members, who might not otherwise have the means, the opportunity to be involved with athletics in Victoria. Applicants are asked to describe how this support package would help them participate in athletics.
Conditions of the Support Package are listed below:
- This support package is open to any new or renewing member
- The support package must be used in the current season (not transferrable to the next Athletics Victoria membership year).
- The support package covers the cost of membership and/or AVSL package.
- Successful receipients of the support package may not be eligible to receive the support package in the subsequent two (2) years*
- The application must be endorsed by a committee member of the club the applicant will join.
- In endorsing an application, the club is agreeing to waive any club fee associated with membership.
- Support packages are not dependent on athletic ability.
Please complete one of the two forms below, the Athlete Application if you are filling it out for yourself, or the Club / Independent Application if you are filling it out for someone else. There will be 15 scholarships granted in the 2021/22 Season.
