A school based event that provides students ranging from under 14 through under 20 the opportunity to race in a relay based competition against schools from around Victoria. One of Athletics Victoria’s three major winter school competitions, this event continues to be a popular way to start the winter season, with school teams rising to 291 in 2016. The Jells Park course provides a great opportunity for students of all abilities to compete in a fun and friendly environment.

Entries Close: 12pm (midday) Monday 20 April, 2015 – NO LATE or ON DAY entries will be accepted. If you are having trouble entering please contact AV on 8646 4500 or via email xcr@athsvic.org.au before the closing deadline.

How to enter:

1. One (1) representative from each school is to register all teams via the school portal. If you are unsure if your school has a portal or cannot remember login details please contact AV (8646 4500) as soon as possible as this is the only way to register teams, we will not be accepting email or paper entries.

2. Individuals do not need to register themselves to compete – contact your school to make sure they are registering a team.

3. When entering teams via the school portal one (1) athlete name = one (1) team entry, two (2) athlete names = two (2) team entries and so on. You do not have to name all athletes in each team, only one (1) is required to enter the team and then athlete names will be given to AV on the day of competition for results purposes.

4. Please note payments can be done with credit card or invoice via the school portal.

U14 2002, 2003, 2004

Athletes are eligible to compete in a higher age group but cannot compete in a lower age group.

2014 All Schools Cross Country Relay Championships


Results

Teams shall consist of four athletes. More than one team may be entered in the same event, but the school must ensure that the last runner has the correct identifying number (supplied by Athletics Victoria) atatched to his/her singlet. School sports uniform must be worn. The last runner in each team will be required to carry a tag (supplied by Athletics Victoria) and this tag will be colelcted at the finish of the race. Confirmation and information will be e-mailed to the teacher contact after entries close.
