Entries are now closed for the 2017 Magpie Multies to be held at the home of Collingwood Harriers Athletics Club, Heidelberg Road, Clifton Hill, Victoria on the weekend of October 7/8th.
This event is a National Permit Meet.
For eligible AV Members who enter and participate in the Magpie Mutlies, your results from the events held on Saturday (only) will score points for your Club in AV Shield**.
**To be eligible you must have purchased a MAX Package or a Track & Field Package and be competing in Magpie Multies.
Entry fee: $20 (Pentathlons – $10)

Note: Every effort will be made to finish all competitions as close as possible to the same time.
Course Fee for Part B only – $192.50 Part A must be completed before Part B. Please also register for Part A if you have not yet completed that course.
This is the second Part of the Level 2 Advanced qualification in the event group of Jumps.
To undertake Level 2 Advanced – Part B Jumps, you must already have completed Level 2 Advanced Part A or Level 3.
This event group focuses on developing your coaching skills in the areas of Long Jump, Triple Jump and High Jump and introduces you to coaching Pole Vault.
This course is a mix of practical and theory and offers a variety of skills and drills to develop the technical model in all Jump events.
This course is ideal for those wishing to specialise in the area of jumps and working with athletes aged 12 and up.
Pre requisite for this course is to be Level 2 Intermediate Club coach, as well as having already completed Level 2 Advanced Part A, or be a Level 3 coach in another event group.
Course and Resources Fee – $330
8:30am – 5:30pm both days
Pre requisite for this course is Level 1 Community Athletic Coach.
The Level 2 Intermediate Club Coach Course is the next step on from Level 1 Community Athletics Coach course. It is designed to develop fundamental skills and drills, and understanding of the basic technical models for the events required for participation in athletics at club and school competition. The event groups covered include:
• Sprints & relays
• Hurdles
• Middle & Long Distance up to 5000m – excluding steeple chase
• Jumps – excluding pole vault
• Throws – excluding hammer
• Race-walking
In addition the course introduces you to the next level of session planning and programming, as well as the principles of training.
All participants must complete the online module prior to the practical component of the course, found here
Entries: $10.00 per event ($5.00 Pentathlon). All entries can be made by contacting Stephen Griffiths at griffiths.stephen.r@edumail.vic.gov.au.
