Good evening,
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 response, Athletics Victoria wishes to advise that, unfortunately, the events initially scheduled for September 2021 have been postponed.
These events include the 2021 Victorian All Schools Track Relay Championships, 2021 Victorian Schools NITRO Challenge, Collingwood DMR Relay Classic and the Mornington10 (Zatopek10 Qualifier). These postponements are in addition to the previously cancelled XCR Season.
In consideration of the updated government information released on 1st September, we will look to hold these events when advised it is safe to do so by the DHHS.
September has always been an exciting month for athletics, with the traditional change over from XCR to the summer season.
We are awaiting directions from the Victorian government that will allow us to advise on plans for future summer events, including AVSL, Specialist Groups and Championship events.
We are committed to hosting events once restrictions allow, and we’re excited to see the community back at the track throughout summer.
Athletics Victoria will advise of rescheduled dates for events when advised.
