Wind:
Athletics Victoria will aim to turn the track to suit the wind conditions, where possible. As is the nature with all weather, it can change. Please note, back straight camera’s and photo finish equipment can take up to 2 hours to set up, so decisions to turn or not turn the track are often made 1.5-2 hours before the first scheduled track event.
As the back straight camera’s and photo finish equipment is temporary, please expect some minor delays in programing and start times. We kindly ask you to resepct the officials in working through any technical difficulty to ensure optimal competition conditions.
Triple Jump
Only the Top 8 Male & Female athletes will receive an additional 3 attempts, athletes whom do not qualify for the additional jumps will only receive the first 3 attempts.
Good luck!
