This is the second Part of the Level 2 Advanced qualification in the event group of Throws.
To undertake Level 2 Advanced – Part B Throws, you must already have completed Level 2 Advanced Part A or Level 3.
This event group focuses on developing your coaching skills in the areas of Shot Put, Discus, Javelin and introduces you to coaching Hammer.
This course is a mix of practical and theory and offers a variety of skills and drills to develop the technical model in all Throws events.
This course is ideal for those wishing to specialise in the area of throws and working with athletes aged 12 and up.
Pre requisite for this course is to be Level 2 Intermediate Club coach, as well as having already completed Level 2 Advanced Part A, or be a Level 3 coach in another event group.

2017 Overall Results
This year, the Victorian Country Track & Field Championships is partnering with Headspace, the national youth mental health foundation. Headspace provides early intervention mental health services to 12-15 year old, along with assistance in promoting young peoples’ wellbeing. Headspace will be attending the event with an information tent, as well as hosting activities and giveaways on the Friday and Saturday. In support of Headspace, there will be a gold coin donation on entry to the track.

Cancellation/Refund: Entry fees will only be refunded if a cancellation is received in writing to prior to entries closing. Any refunds after this time will be processed only if the written notification is accompanied with a medical certificate.

The Level 1 Community Athletics Coach course is accredited by the Australian Sports Commission’s (ASC) National Coaching Accreditation Scheme (NCAS), and upon completion of the course participants will become NCAS accredited athletics coaches, with a universally recognized qualification by all nationwide athletics bodies.
This course is the entry level of the Accredited Athletics Coaching Framework.
