Welcome back to AVSL in 2021!
We are so excited to see you back on track for the start of 2021. Life has changed in many ways for people over the past year, however we are now in a position to transition back to the previous AVSL format.
The State Government and DHHS have approved our plan to see AVSL return to two (2) metropolitan venues and three (3) country/regional venues from the 16th January 2021*.
AVSL competition will replicate a similar format to that of 2019-20 pre-COVID-19, however as expected in this current climate, there are still some very important guidelines and processes to adhere to which are outlined in the AVSL Guide. Please ensure you take the time to read the up-to-date version in order to support our compliance with health and safety standards set out by State Government.
Health and safety measures will remain at the forefront when organising these events and we ask all stakeholders to support the guidelines and information published in correspondence.
The most recent iteration of AVSL event offerings will see the inclusion of all track and field disciplines with strict guidelines and processes aligned with the health and safety standards outlined by the Victorian Government.

If you have issues entering the event please contact Athletics Victoria PRIOR to the closing date. This can be done via email to sportdelivery@athsvic.org.au or by phoning the Athletics Victoria office on 8646 4500 (Leave a message explaining the issues you are experiencing). Athletics Victoria will not accept any late entries. Emails received after the closing date will not be accepted.
Please note that there will be NO on the day entries for AVSL 2020/21
