Where can I compete?
Athletes will be limited in the venues they are able to participate at during the first two rounds of AVSL. This is to ensure that all venues can review processes and offer sufficient competition opportunities that cater to their local athletes. This will be reviewed following the first two rounds.

A Metropolitan home address will be those home addresses based within the following 31 Metropolitan Melbourne Local Government Areas as defined by the DHHS website (Click Here) – Banyule, Bayside, Brimbank, Cardinia Shire, Casey, Darebin, Frankston, Glen Eira, Greater Dandenong, Hobsons Bay, Hume, Kingston, Knox, Manningham, Maribyrnong, Maroondah, Melbourne, Melton, Monash, Moonee Valley, Moreland, Mornington Peninsula, Nillumbik, Port Phillip, Stonnington, Whitehorse & Whittlesea.
Athletes with Regional home addresses will only be eligible to compete in the three country venues – Ballarat, Bendigo and Geelong. A regional home address will be those home address that are located external to the above 31 listed local government areas.
