Athletics Victoria wishes to recognise and celebrate the 114 athletes selected for the 2025 Athletics Victoria Target Talent Program (AVTTP). AVTTP is an initial Talent Development strand and is delivered in partnership with Athletics Victoria (AV), and the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS).
AVTTP continues to develop state and national representation with a handful of our older cohort being selected to represent Australian Teams in multiple international competitions in 2024 including the World U20 Athletics Championships.
In 2025 the Athletics Australia Target Talent program (TTP) aims to offer up to 5 Activations across the year, including 3x Face-to-Face Activations at Lakeside Stadium, 1x Online Hot-Topic Presentation and 1x Athlete Meet and Greet at Maurie Plant Meet. Our Activation session will be the core target of Coach Education, Skill Development and Athlete Education via our event group Mentors. TTP will aim to offer a greater environment for athletes to gain further knowledge to aid their performance development towards achieving higher performance standards.
