2017 Australian Schools Championships

When: Friday 8 December – Sunday 10 December, 2017
Where: SA Athletics Stadium, Adelaide

Entries Close: 5:00pm Monday 6 November 2017 – No late entries will be accepted.

School pride will be on the line in Adelaide as the Australian All Schools Athletics Championships welcomes the best school aged track and field starters to duel for the coveted title of national champion.

The pinnacle of Australian Athletics development pathway, this three-day festival of athletics features events for students aged under 14, under 16, and under 18.

Athletes that come first or second in their events at the Victorian All Schools Track & Field Champs will automatically qualify for the Victorian Team, all other athletes that wish to submit an expression of interest to qualify for the team should fill in the information form below:

2017 Victorian All Schools Track Relay Championships

When: Wednesday 6 September, 2017
Where: Lakeside Stadium
Time: From 12.30pm

Entries Close: 12:00pm (midday) Monday 28 August 2017 – No late or on day entries will be accepted.

The 2017 All Schools Track Relay Championships will provide schools throughout Victoria with the challenge of competing in relay events while promoting team spirit and increased participation.

2017 Victorian All Schools Knockout Championships

When: Thursday 14 September 2017
Where: Lakeside Stadium
Time: From 10.00am

Entries Close: 12:00pm (midday) Monday 4 September 2017 – No late or on day entries will be accepted.

It’s school against school in an exciting, team-based athletics event as School Knockout returns for 2017!

This unique, nationwide competition pits teams of five to nine athletes against each other across three age groups. The performance-based scoring system allocated points for fixed time or distance standards. This allows teams to go head-to-head across various events where every centimetre and split second for every team member counts!

2017 Winter Events

2017 Victorian All Schools Cross Country Relay Championships

When: Saturday 29 April, 2017
Entries Close: 12pm (midday) Monday 24th April, 2017
Where: Jells Park North

A school based event that provides students ranging from under 14 through under 20 the opportunity to race in a relay based competition against schools from around Victoria. One of Athletics Victoria’s three major winter school competitions, this event continues to be a popular way to start the winter season, with school teams rising to just under 300 in 2016.

The Jells Park course provides a great opportunity for students of all abilities to compete in a fun and friendly environment.

2017 Victorian All Schools Road Relay Championships

When: Saturday 20 May, 2017
Entries Close: 12pm (midday) Monday 15 May, 2017
Where: Albert Park

A school team based relay event located close to Albert Park lake, with the back drop of the Formula 1 pit lanes. This competition offers students an exciting opportunity to compete with classmates in the hustle of relay running and change overs.

The event generates a great vibe and inclusive atmosphere, with a wide mix of schools from all over Victoria involved.

2017 Victorian All Schools Cross Country Championships

When: Saturday 17 June, 2017
Entries Close: Extended to 12pm (midday) Wednesday 7 June, 2017
Where: Bundoora Park

The 2017 Victorian All Schools Cross Country Championships is the selection trial to represent Victoria at the 2017 Australian Cross Country Championships in Wollongong, NSW.

This event provides students the opportunity to take on the best Victoria has to offer and claim the honor of being Victoria’s best cross country runners.

Note: Under 20 athletes who no longer attend school and wish to compete at Bundoora will need to enter the XCR’17 Rd 4 event individually via the event page. Bundoora Park is not offered as part of the XCR Package in 2017.
