The 2019 Coles AV State Track & Field Championships will be held across two big weekends at Lakeside Stadium over the weekends of the 1st-3rd March and the 8th-10th March.
Events are offered across all age groups and abilities with selection to the 2019 Australian Track & Field Championships on offer.
In the case of insufficient athletes reporting to the Check-In area by the required time for the need to conduct heats or semi-finals, then all athletes who reported will progress to the final which will be held at the scheduled FINAL TIME for All Events (Men & Women) unless specified.
Coles AV State Track & Field Championships (Weekend 1)
- Date: Friday 1 – Sunday 3 March, 2019
- Entries Close: 11:59am (Midday) Monday 18th February 2019 – No late or on the day entries will be accepted
- Cost: $20 per event

- Date: Friday 8 – Sunday 10 March, 2019
- Entries Close: 11:59am (Midday) Monday 25th February 2019 – No late or on the day entries will be accepted
- Cost: $20 per event

Free entry for competing athletes, AA affiliated coaches & children under 12
Athletes MUST be an Athletics Victoria athlete member or member of their state/national association in order to compete at State Championship events. Any athletes that enter and do not meet this criteria will be asked to become a member of their state association otherwise they may not be able to compete.

Note: the featured timetable is a ‘DRAFT’ and for reference only. Due to the complexity of scheduling both track and field events, once entries close a revised ‘PROVISIONAL TIMETABLE’ will be published which will provide an up to date schedule of events and timings. The ‘Provisional Timetable’ should be used over and above the ‘Draft’ version. Athletics Victoria will notify all entrants via email and social media of changes to the timetable before the event commences. It is the responsibility of athletes, parents or coaches to check the timetable online 24 hours before competition, if you are unsure of the most up to date timetable, please do not hesitate to contact Athletics Victoria on 03 86464500.
Lakeside Stadium will have their Kiosk open which provides food and hot and cold beverages.
St Johns Ambulance will be on site throughout the day. They will be in the player runaway which is located halfway down the home straight.
There are toilet facilities open around Lakeside Stadium.
Car parking is available around Lakeside Stadium, and MSAC. Please take note of parking fees.
Looking After Lakeside Stadium
We are very grateful for the opportunity to compete at Lakeside Stadium. Please ensure you:
- Park only in designate parking bays
- Leave the venue as you found it – clean and tidy
- Do not litter, and use the bins provided
- Inform athletes to leave the toilet blocks in a respectable state
Please note that dogs are not allowed inside Lakeside Stadium.
The 2019 Australian Athletics Championships are the pinnacle event of the Australian Athletics Calendar, with an eight day event commencing on Monday 1st April 2019.
