Athletics Victoria is reminding all athletes aged 16-24 about the Youth Forum that is being held in the Cathy Freeman Room, Athletics House on Wednesday 18 October from 6:30pm – 8:00pm.
We’re looking for young people that want to make a difference in athletics, and we think a forum style discussion is a great way to start. The forum will discuss topics related to young people and how they engage in athletics, as well as discussion around how AV can improve products and services. We will drive discussion and start the ball rolling with topics, but ultimately the forum is for young athletes to have their voices heard and allow us to understand what is important to a young athlete.
If you are keen to have your voice heard and want to participate, please fill in the online form with a topic that you would like to discuss, all topics will be considered and all participants will be heard.
In the application, we’d like you to give us an idea of an issue or topic you’d like us to discuss during the forum. It can be something about a competition, your club, athletics in general, the culture, whatever it is you think is something worth talking about, we want to hear it.
Applications close Monday 16 October.
