Zone Final spot on the line for Red and White zones

In a bid to clinch an inaugural Zone v Zone Final birth Red and White Zones will face off for the third and remaining metropolitan spot this Saturday 17 January at Tom Kelly Athletics Complex.

After nine rounds of AV Shield, Yellow and Blue zones have ensured their spots in the Zone Final to take place at Lakeside Stadium on Saturday 21 February.

Heading into the final weekend of AV Shield, Yellow tops the points table with eight and Blue sit second on six zone points.

With both Red and White zones on two points, all eyes will be on the outcome at Doncaster this weekend.

Along with the first three metropolitan zones, a country team will be made up of select athletes from across Geelong, Ballarat, Bendigo, Gippsland and Albury/Wodonga for the Zone Final next month.
